Shadowlight-Mirage represents the third generation of a new paradigm in spatial design and expression. ShadowLight unites the empowerment of computer-aided design with the fluidity of natural articulation under the auspices of the unfettered interaction and spatial immersion afforded by virtual reality. The traditional design process often relies heavily on two-dimensional media, gaining the third dimension only at discrete intervals for evaluation purposes. Even when manifested in all three dimensions, it is often difficult or impossible to interact meaningfully with the design or immerse oneself within it.
